Scheduling Procedure

The first thing you will need to do is call the shop at 866-550-SEAT(7328), 828-428-1521, or 828-428-1535.

We will go over everything with you on the phone but here is what to expect.

We will need to know the year, make, and model of your motorcycle.  We need to know if the seat is a factory original seat and if it is stock or if it has been modified previously.

If you have an aftermarket seat we need to know this plus the model number of the seat.  Some aftermarket seats modify very well and others do not so this is important.

The next thing we will ask is your height and weight and if you want the riding position changed.  Once we know this, if you have not selected a modification or want our recommendation we will tell you which modification is going to work best for you.

Do you want both the driver and passenger seat(or section if it is a one-piece two-up seat) done?  If both, we will need to know the passenger's height and weight as well.

We do require a $25 non-refundable deposit if you cancel but it is deducted from your total once the seat is completed and ready to ship back.  We can do this over the phone with a Mastercard, VISA, Discover, or American Express.

Next, we go over the order form on our website.  You will need to print out a copy of the order form and fill it out, sign the bottom of the order form, and put a copy of it in the box with your seat.  Our ship-to address is on the bottom right-hand side of the order form plus it is on our Contact Us page as well.  

Last but not least we give you the information that you will need to put on the outside of the box you ship the seat to us in.  The information helps us check the seat in when it arrives and it is so we do not have to open the box and search for the order form, this saves us a lot of time and please do this.

Shipping Tips from the Pros

Helpful tips for shipping your seat.  First and foremost, use the smallest box you can get your seat into without having the seat crunched up inside of it, if you have to forcefully hold the box closed to tape it shut the box is too small and this will create problems with the cover.  When we receive a seat that is in a box too small for it we replace the box with one of our own boxes and the cost is $10 which may go up if our box price goes up.  We do not make money on boxes but we want the seat to make the trip home safely and not get damaged inside a box that is too small for it.

The reason behind the smallest box the seat will fit is due to the shippers not using the actual weight of the seat but Dimensional weight, the larger the box the more they consider it to weigh by the amount of space it takes so the smaller the box the less shipping cost will be.

If you have any questions on shipping tips please feel free to ask us, we'll give you the ins and outs of smart shipping.  The cost of shipping has doubled over the past few years but we do have tips to help you with these costs, if someone wants $100 to ship a box, look at your box size and who you using, are you going directly to UPS or using a store?  Going directly to the shipper will be less expensive than going to a store that ships using UPS or FedEx
