This modification changes the foam in the Driver's Back Rest to special memory foam and gel type material; it forms to the driver's back and gives great support.This modifications is for standard backrest and not touring package backrest like the ones used on Harley Davidson Electra/Ultra Glide or Goldwings. This modification will give you the feeling of sitting in the motorcycle and not on it. It lowers the rider up to 31/2 inches and move the rider back in the saddle up to 31/2 inches. Plus the seat is shaped for a comfort. We take it down to the extreme for that custom cruiser feel.Some seats cannot be moved back as much as others due to the way the seat pan is designed.
With this modification we re-shape the seat based on the rider's height and weight. The seat is shaped so your weight is dispersed better to get rid of the tailbone issues and help with hot spots. It will lower the rider anywhere from 1/2 inch to 3 inches and move the rider back from 1/2 inch to 3 inches it all depends on the rider's height and weight. We can keep the riding position in the stock position or move it back.
This modification is a lot like our Rider's Choice modification and Extreme but we replace the foam in the driver's sitting area of the seat with our Memory foam. The Ultimate modification for long distance riding developed exclusively for spending all day the saddle and wanting more. The original foam is reshaped to disperse the rider's weight more evenly over the sitting area. The first layer of foam is added and shaped to improve comfort, the second layer is installed and shaped then the final layer of foam is added and shaped then the seat is covered with a thin layer of foam, a water proof plastic sheeting is then placed on the seat and cover re-installed. This modification has been used for the lower 48 plus Alaska ride in 10 days with the rider logging 900 miles a day, it is definitely for the serious all day in the saddle rider.Due to the amount of foam being put in for this modification the riding position cannot be changed much if any. It depends on the year and model of motorcycle you have. The thigh area of the seat can be narrowed to help achieve better footing but lowering the riding position is very questionable. Raising the riding position on the other hand is very do-able though.
This modification can lower the riding position and move the rider's riding position back to where it is very similar to a Street Glide or Road Glide custom seat. For the stock original cover to work on this seat it has to be modified as well. We rebuild the sitting area of the seat with two layers of memory foam designed for the rider's weight. The back of the sitting area is reshaped to move the riding position back as much as the seat pan design will allow. We then fill in the backrest slot, we have found through test riding that filling the backrest slot in provides much better support. The original stock cover is modified to work with the new shape of the seat and the best slot is eliminated as well. Please view the pictures.
If you choose to go as low and as far back as possible the seat will be very similar to the stock riding position of a stock 2011-19 Street Glide seat or Road glide custom seat.There will be a break in period and typically it takes 800-1000 miles to break the seat in. You may experience a little sliding forward or some unwanted pressure on the outside areas of the seat under your butt, this is normal and will go away as the seat breaks in which is typical of all of our modifications.

absolutely awesome, like a new bike. I'm 5'8" and always felt like I was floating on top of the bike. I researched lowering kits but did not want to compromise the ride.
